Unfortunately this could happen. Human errors do exist when capturing high volumes of data. The data capturer could have captured the bank account details incorrectly with just one digit and it could have ended up being your bank account. The same mistake could happen when an account holder by accident misread his account number to the capturer.

We try and prevent this, but due to the fact that each organization is responsible for their own account, there is only so much that we can do. We do follow strict procedures with our clients to ensure that no fraudulent activities take place. Therefore we ask them to attach the mandate (whether it is in writing or on call recording) to the captured sale. If by any chance and error has occurred due to the lack of proper quality control, we do take the matter very seriously and the necessary action will be taken against our clients.

If your account was wrongfully debited we will firstly put you in contact directly with the organization who instructed us to debit your bank account. We will provide you with a company name and contact number. (Please just have your bank statement at hand for us to be able to assist.) You then may claim an immediate refund from them directly. If for any reason you are not refunded, please do not hesitate to contact us directly again and we will take the necessary steps to ensure that the matter gets resolved as soon as possible.
